SAWALI CARE CENTRE – A NEED OF THE PERIOD
Sawali Care Centre is established by a registered trust named as ‘Medical Relief and Education Public Charitable Trust (India), for brevity purpose ‘MEREED (INDIA)’.
The present world is a competitive world, where every person struggles hard to survive. And in this hectic life people cannot get time to take care of the elderly ones, at home and at times this is highly frustrating.
Keeping this in mind, we have undertaken this project of Sawali Care Centre which would cater to patients suffering from various physical and psychological diseases such as Paralysis, Coma, Fractures, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation, Schizophrenia, Alzheimer’s and old age related problems and diseases.
At Sawali, we provide 24×7 quality Nursing care under medical supervision, a balanced Diet prepared according to the advice of nutritional experts and other related medical health care. And all this is provided in homely atmosphere.
Organization has availed all equipments required in Medical Emergencies such as Oxygen Cylinder, Ambu Bag, Nebulizer, Suction Machine, etc. Availability of Ambulance, Portable X-ray, Pathology services are added features.

SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON PSYCHOLOGICAL NURSING:
Psychological Nursing
- All festivals are celebrated in the same manner as if, they are at home
- No breakfast is repeated in 15 days. Variety of breakfast dishes are prepared consisting South Indian, North Indian, Marathi, Guajarati and continental cuisines.
- Fresh, Warm and Tasty foods don’t let the Dietary regime become boring.
- Food intake, Hygiene of each patient is minutely observed by specially appointed staff, to make each patient feel that, ‘HE/SHE IS ATTENDED PERSONALLY’.
- Various entertainment programs such as Mimicry shows, Orchestra, Bhajan Sandhya, Group sessions etc. are organized frequently.
- All wards are equipped with Television, Music System, Library, etc.
FOR HOW MUCH PERIOD PATIENT CAN BE ADMITTED?
- For life time – till terminal stage.
- For some months/weeks. Patient may take discharge after successful completion of Physiotherapy treatment and Nursing. For example – a Paralysis patient may act independently after treatment of 4 to 6 months and can be mobile for his day to day needs.
- Sometimes, patient is taken care by his family members but due to some function/tour, family members has to go our to station for some days. In this situation, patient can be admitted for some days even.
- Day Care Basis: For some hours a day.
Patients suffering from any contagious disease or those with psychiatric disorders are not admitted to this institution.
